Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 ears of corn
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt plus extra for serving

Instructions

  • Cut 1 to 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter into 4 pieces and let them come to room temperature while you prepare the corn.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400ºF. Meanwhile, remove the husks from 4 ears of corn and, if needed, halve them to fit in the air fryer in a single layer.
  • Rub each corn cob with 1 teaspoon of olive oil and sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of kosher salt over them. Place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they don't overlap (you might need to do this in batches).
  • Air fry the corn, flipping them halfway through, until they are tender and lightly charred around the edges. This usually takes 6 to 8 minutes in total. Once done, coat the corn with the room-temperature butter and add more kosher salt if desired.
